I don't have listen to this since 2011 often, but now it seams The Powerless Rise have some kind of revival for me.

@gl12878: yeah, you're quite right. I recently discovered Upside Down Kingdom as a nice & heavy headbanging song ;)

change of style. well, that's a good change!! :) but I miss at least one or two melodic songs like Elegy or The Sound of Truth. and there should be at least one pure headbanging song like Through Struggle...

Love It! Much br00tal than An Ocean Between Us.. But I Miss The Clean Singing Parts from AOBU. The Clean Singing Parts on The Powerless Rise are don't bad,but NOT AOBU-like. But BEST ALBUM 2010! {2}

I thought they were mellowing out on AOBU, but TPR sure put that idea to rest. This is pedal-to-the-metal-core. Given KSE's relatively tame eponymous release and All That Remains' more progressive sound in their last album I think that leaves AILD as the kings of metalcore (possible exception: Parkway Drive)

Yeah! this is really fucking awesome work! AOBU was my fav by them but it seems now I consider The Powerless Rise as their best album.. Very groovy, heavy, diverce and melodic.. with every play it seems better and better!
