“Sometimes” is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande. It is the tenth track in her third studio album, Dangerous Woman. It is a sultry acoustic-pop track, and was released as part of her album's 10-day countdown on Instagram.

The song premiered on Apple’s Beats 1 Radio, following the scheduled release of a new track daily until the release of the album.

The male voice in the background is Daye Jack, who is a Nigerian-American hip-hop artist.

During an interview with AOL, he recounted how he came to be featured in the song:

"There’s a producer Ilya … Me and Ilya are really close. He was working with Ariana on her latest album and the song “Sometimes.” He called me and was like, “Yo, Daye. I have this song and I think your voice would be perfect for the background vocals.” I literally was on tour at the time, sang the background vocals into my phone voice memos, sent it back to him, and he ended up using it on the song."
