‘'Break Free’‘ is the second single off of Ariana Grande’s 2014 project, titled “My Everything”, following the Iggy Azalea/Big Sean-featured Problem. The track premiered on July 2nd, 2014, on MTV’s Total Ariana Live, hosted by Sway.
The official video by Ariana Grande was then released weeks later on August 12th 2014 and primarily features Grande sexually singing through extraterrestrial space scenes.
Ariana said this to MTV about the song: "I never thought I’d do an EDM song, but that was an eye-opening experience, and now all I want to do is dance."
The single peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her third top 10 single at that time.
