How. This isn't meant in mean spirit, I genuinely want to know what happened that lead a K-pop stan to Dvorak

(my original comment was not meant to be taken super seriously, it's not like people who listen to kpop don't listen to anything else but people on this website are mean for no reason. thank you for being nice) ATEEZ (kpop boygroup) did a performance on a show where they incorporated Dvorak's Symphony no.9 to one of their songs. Check out ATEEZ's "Symphony No.9 From the Wonderland" on Youtube if you're curious! The performance itself is amazing and the mix of kpop and classical music is the cherry on top!

As I listen through Symphony No. 9, I can't help but notice how much I'm hearing of John Williams. It's clear that he borrowed a great deal from Dvorak, even specific elements of famous themes can be heard here... Jaws, Duel of the Fates, etc.

Artran
After listening half of his work, I can't continue, I'm exhaused. He's too dawdling for me. His music is primarily about melody and instrumentation. He's great at this, but it's the same story again and again (albeit better and better). I prefer brevity of Janáček, complexity of Bach, wit of Mozart, austerity of Bartók.
