my first listen to this album was back in 2016, and don't impressed at all. almost 4 years later i gave it a spin today and it sounds sooo goood! this album has such a mysterious, dark, melancholic atmosfere (especially the songs 'why', 'cold', 'money can't buy it', 'primitive', 'stay by me' and 'the gift'.) her voice is so lively and rich, make the album sounds so lush, glamorous and unique. defitinely a grower.

Same here. This album was closer inspected in 2019 during a time when I really had problems getting into new/unknown music. I always knew and loved "Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass" since the '90s and always had the intention to check out the entire album. I finally did this two years ago and purchased the CD a few weeks later. Especially "Precious" and "Cold" are outstanding. The overall production quality is sublime. Producer Stephen Lipson did a fantastic job.

some music is just timeless. it's crazy how our music taste grow in time. we're able to be going through changes, metamorphosis and etc. in 2019 you was a person, and now in 2021 you are another person. madonna's erotica is my favorite by her and took so many years for me to appreciate that record. the harder you get to be into an album/artist, the better. it growns on you and you never get tired of it.

Diva made a big impression on me, for all the usual Annie Lennox reasons: high-octane emotion, incredible vocal range and depth, sex-rattled voice, always in there about love and at last, reflective and philosophical...
