Angelfish is the first, and only, album released by Scottish alternative rock band Angelfish. It was released worldwide in February 1994, after it being recorded in late 1993. The album failed to break into any major charts worldwide. It was produced by former Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, who had also worked with The Happy Mondays previously. In the United Kingdom the record was relased on Radioactive Records, whilst in the United States it was released on the now defunct MCA Inc. label. "Heartbreak To Hate" is the only single from the album and it too also failed to chart. However two music videos were made, one for "Heartbreak To Hate" and the other for "Suffocate Me", the latter of which helped propel lead-singer Shirley Manson to fame with American band Garbage. The song was also included in the "Suffocate Me" record alongside "You Can Love Her" and two new tracks, an EP which was released prior to the album.
