"Girl from the North Country" (occasionally "Girl of the North Country") is a song written by American musician Bob Dylan that was the second track on Dylan's second studio album, "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" (released in 1963) and as a duet with Johnny Cash on Dylan's ninth studio album, "Nashville Skyline" (released in 1969). The song has subsequently been covered by numerous other artists.
