Biography

Andy Golledge was born in the mid northern country town of Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia. Drawn to music at an early age Andy was a natural songwriter and vocalist. He moved to Sydney when he was 19 years of age and it was at that point that his solo career started playing shows around the capital. He won the respect of his musical peers early on and continued to build an ever increasing fan base. He was found performing at an open mic night in Newtown by the founder of Orgasm Records who was pointed in Andy's direction by a hotel owner who had seen Andy perform numerous time.

Andy's debut release available on iTunes around the world and Amazonmp3.com in the U.S as well as the nokia online music store was brought out through Orgasm Recordings in April of 2010 and contains the 3 tracks, 'Ain't Nobody', 'All this money' and the six minute songwriters epic 'steal' which has become one of many crowd favorites at his live shows. The song 'Cross Fire' is available on the C.D version of the the e.p which is available at the Orgasm Recordings website, www.orgasmp3.com via mail order and is available as a free download at various sites on the internet but wasn't included in the digital version of the online release.

During his live shows Andy plays to the room and his audience, he feels the energy coming from his crowd and chooses his songs accordingly, playing those songs for each and every person in the room. Rarely does he go from a set list, preferring to flow with each show. If it's a small and intimate crowd he may play some really personal or slower songs, if it is a bustling crowd than he may step up the pace a bit. No matter what he does play though, he takes his audience on a journey through his emotions and theirs and achieves this feat by injecting an honesty into his music that goes beyond truth.

Andy continues to play at all the major venues in Sydney regularly and has previously held to his acclaim a performance on the main stage of the Australia Day Concert as part of the Tamworth Country music festival.
