“We Don’t Have To Dance” is the first single off of Andy Black’s debut album "The Shadow Side".

The song is all about how you wish to meet someone, get to know them, try to foresee a brief future with them, but in truth, you don’t feel like you would be good for them; besides that, on a slightly sadder note, the song talks about anxiety and how it’s hard to approach social situations.

The song was written by Black and Patrick Stump, the lead singer of Fall Out Boy along with some help from The Used’s former guitarist Quinn Allman.

An official music video was released for the song on March 21, 2016 on VEVO.
