There are at least seven artists with the name Amoeba:
1) An experimental music group that fuses the pop and ambient music genres. They formed in California, USA in 1992. The core members of the group are ambient musician Robert Rich and guitarist/bassist Rick Davies.
2) Hardcore-punk band from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
3) Hardcore/Thrash band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (disbanded in 2003)
4) Dutch Electronic musician. He makes songs on the computer since 2007
5) An experimental rock/electronic collaboration between two Estonian artists Sethh & Ta Vie.
6) A Brutal Death Metal band from Strasbourg, France that formed in 2010. The band has played during the Summer Breeze Open Air in Germany in 2012. (disbanded in 2014)
7) A future-groovemaster-neosoul band from Budapest, Hungary. They have one album to their name, Keep The Funk Alive, from 2015. Their second album was slated for 2020.
