Aminé is joined by Charlie Wilson and JID for a track about the “Roots” of their heritage. This definition of “roots” is juxtaposed to the literal definition of a plant. Aminé previewed this song on his YouTube channel as he was counting down the days to the album’s release.
Charlie Wilson appeared on several tracks on Aminé’s July 2017 debut album, Good for You. He was credited on “Dakota” but was uncredited on “Turf” and “Veggies.” He is also uncredited later in this album on “Mama.”
