Lol "the dude" Henderson's bass kicks ass.

ALongside Frank is a four piece band that has developed out of the studio based collective ALF. ALongside Frank have been jamming together for the last 3 years and the tracks here are off their new album "93 Million Miles" has been released on the Horizontal Label 2010. For more information on ALF visit http://www.myspace.com/alongsidefrank.

ALongside Frank is produced by Nick "El Cap" Chamberlain-Hunt, who also recorded and produced all the ALF albums.

Singer Christine Ann Leach started her recording career on underground club records with tracks on renowned producer William Orbit's label, . This led to further collaboration and songs on William Orbits' "Strange Cargo" series of ambient albums. At the same time her band Baby Fox began making a name for themselves with two singles of the week in the NME and a couple highly rated albums in a genre that became labelled as trip hop. Then one of the songs that Christine co-wrote and performed live with William Orbit at London Astoria, and at Phoenix Festival called "Ray of Light", suddenly shot into an entirely different universe. William became Madonna's producer and that song became the title track for the Madonna’s album “Ray Of Light”.

Gavin Jack the drummer and bass player Lol "the bass dude" Henderson have been friends for years. They met up with Nicholas Chamberlain Hunt and Christine Ann Leach 3 years ago and have since developed a great friendship which is a catalyst for their music. Actually Christine Ann Leach and Lol Henderson were lovers in their teens and had a chance meeting in N16 which was the start of ALongside Frank.

The debut double album is vibrant, danceable but also moody enough to chill to. An exultant river of guitars and vocals, break beats and rude bass that has surprises in every track.

93 Million Miles is your interior soundscape at midday and midnight, painted in sounds from the future, past and present. This much was never going to fit on a single CD.
