this is one of the best Alice Cooper songs as music (I love guitar, the guitar solos, all the instruments) and vocals and lyrics, usually I like it also live version

I've been waiting years to my eighteen birthday just to listen this song and really feel and understand it.

I worked at WPLR in New Haven CT while I was in still in school and when I walked in on my first day this song was blasting out of the studio and I literally got a dopamine rush and I knew I was in the right place at the right time. I was 18 and I really really liked it.

In 1971, Alice Cooper (when Alice Cooper were a band) scored their breakout hit with "I'm Eighteen." Bruce Pollock meets Alice Cooper's drummer, Neal Smith, who talks us through the writing and recording of this 70s anthem, from its primordial Pink Floyd beginnings, to Warner Brothers' rather negative reaction to the track! - http://www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/neal_smith_-_they_re_playing_my_song/

I just turned 19 and I still don't know what I want. In fact, I'm even more confused than I was a year ago.
