A rock/pop band from Madrid, Spain led by Alaska, Nacho Canut and Carlos Berlanga, former members of two previous and succesful spanish bands: Kaka De Luxe and Alaska y los Pegamoides. They recorded their first album, "Canciones profanas" in 1983, under the name, Dinarama + Alaska. The subsequent year, under pressure from their record label, they changed their name to Alaska y Dinarama, becoming one of Spain's huge record selling acts during the mid eighties. In 1989, Carlos Berlanga left the band to go solo, and Alaska along with Canut formed an electropop duo called Fangoria, which remains popular to date.
