Biography
Abstrakt Sonance has been making music in a cave for only 3 years, but in that short time, he has accomplished more than most. At first, he borrowed a computer to produce, releasing beats sporadically, but now he owns a trailer he converted into a full-on studio. With a demanding and aggressive stage presence, Abstrakt has opened for big names like Propa Tingz, Mat the Alien, Emotionz, Stylust, Yan Zombie, and continues to big huge opening slots and festivals, while touring around on his own. Playing close to 100 shows, and releasing 16 albums in 3 years, Abstrakt is sure to continue his epic saga through the musical universe.
Abstrakt's live mixing is only one element of his character; beginning production around the same time as mixing, he has improved steadily, blending virtually every genre of electronic music with a base in heavy dustup, and now performs full sets with all-original beats. Abstrakt has produced 16 albums across several genres, and to kick off 2012, Abstrakt released 3 albums in 3 months!! Abstrakt is packing in as many shows before June, then hits the road with Emotionz for a BC/Alberta tour, then into the festivals they go to finish off the summer.
