"VERSUS" is the 1st full album by -OZ- released in Japan on September 16, 2009 by LOOP ASH RECORDS. The album was also released as an "Special Edition" in Europe in October (pre-released on September 23, 2009) by CLJ Records.
The album contains 12 tracks, with an heavier sound than on previous releases. The singles "DETOX" and "VENOM" is included, such as an re-arranged version of "ATHENA". The album was released in Japan as an "CD+DVD"-edition including an bonus DVD with the promotion video for track "FILMY".
In Europe, an "European Special Edition" was pre-released by CLJ Records on September 23, 2009 on their web-shop. The album was later avaliable in the rest of Europe in the beginning of October, (Scandinavia: October 9th, GAS: October 16th, UK: October 19th etc)
The "European Special Edition" was released as an CD+DVD-edition including all 12-tracks, the DVD with the PV for track "FILMY", but also DVD bonus material. Including exclusive LIVE-clips of the tracks "Shangrila" and "ATHENA" just for the European public. These LIVE-clips was taken from the LIVE DVD "A FACT OF LIFE 20090218 -Territory Tokyo-". The album also included an bonus booklet with lyrics in English and Romaji.
