Douji Morita (森田童子, Morita Dōji) born January 15th, 1952 in Tokyo was a Japanese singer-songwriter.
After a troubled time at school and inspired by the death of a friend, in 1975 she recorded her first LP, "Good Bye グットバイ". On December 25th 1983, she played her last live at Shinjuku Loft and the left music altogether in favour of being a homemaker.
Later her songs were used for Koukou Kyoushi, a popular TV drama in 1993, and also in the continuation of the series, Koukou Kyoushi 2003.
Doji Morita died of heart failure on April 24, 2018 at the age of 65.
