杏子 (Kyoko) is the stage name of 関原京子 (Kyoko Sekihara), born on the 10th of August 1960 in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan.
Kyoko was one of the two vocalists for BARBEE BOYS (バービーボーイズ) until their break-up in 1990, and she débuted as a solo artist in 1991. In 1999, she formed 福耳 (Fukumimi) alongside label-mates スガシカオ (Suga Shikao) and 山崎まさよし (Masayoshi Yamazaki), which has since grown into a super-group comprising all the members of Office Augusta.
In addition to a music career, Kyoko is an actress in commercials and dramas, and is a radio personality.
