Song Yueting (Shawn) (November 6, 1978 - August 9, 2002), also know as M80 online, was a well-known rap songwriter and composer in Taiwan. He died of cancer at the age of 23. Known as the "spokesperson for the lower class of society", he uses his lyrics to express the darkness and sorrow of society. After his death, he won the 15th Golden Melody Award.

Song Yueting was versatile since he was a child. He was a natural artist and musician, and was known as a "genius child". He loves comics and has been able to write and draw comics since he was a child. He also likes painting, and Van Gogh is his favorite painter. He also loves dancing and sports. He is an excellent dancer, and he is the king of dance in the eyes of his friends. He can constantly invent new dance steps and let others secretly imitate his dance steps and movements. He is a natural-born musician, and has unlimited creativity with no formal music training. He improvises with his true emotions.

Song Yueting had severe allergic symptoms when he was young, so his mother decided to send him to study abroad. When he was 14 years old, he went to the United States to study alone as a foreign student. He moved to several places before moving to California to live with his younger brother in the summer of 1995. When he was 19 years old, a friend of his was being bullied and asked him to pretend to be a member of the Huaqing Gang to intimidate others. Song agreed out of loyalty. After the incident; people reported him, and he was imprisoned for three months. The sentence was later extended to three years. During this three-month period of confinement, he spent his dying life completing the cry that a young heart could not express.

In May 2001, he was diagnosed with stage three bone cancer. After fighting the disease for more than a year, he died at the age of 23 on August 9, 2002.

In 2004, he won the "Best Lyricist Award in the Popular Music Category" at the 15th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards for "Life's a Struggle", and his mother and brother accepted the award on his behalf.

In 2006, MC Hotdog, a well-known Taiwanese rapper, quoted the lyrics of Song Yueting's "Life's a Struggle" in his song.

In 2010, "Life's a Struggle" was broadcasted at the Public Television Theater "They Exploded the Day Before Graduation".
