Relatively new and dubbed "the new star of Avex", Lambsey was born July 15, 1981. The name is said to be a representation of who he is. Like when a lamb is scared, his back becomes stiff and it becomes strong, Lambsey is also described as such.
After debuting in 2005 with "Ram G", when asked why he chose to be a singer, his answer was "Why? Because I just like to sing". With his popularity steadily growing, he was one of the first Japanese artists to be teamed with iTunes.
