Wuyontana (烏雲塔娜, known as ウヨンタナ in Japan) is a vocalist from Inner Mongolia. She moved to Japan in 1987 to attend Showa Women's University. She began her musical career in college. Throughout her college years she provided vocals for a number of high profile projects including performing at the national 1990 Spring Festival Gala in China, and performing a theme song composed by Yôko Kanno (菅野よう子) for an NHK TV series about China.
