Best known as the vocalist of 相対性理論 (Sotaisei Riron), Etsuko Yakushimaru casts a wide creative net, also working as an illustrator, narrator, and composer of music for television commercials. In addition, she is a primary member of electronic pop unit Tutu Helvetica, and collaborates with a number of highly regarded musicians and bands including Kuricorder Quartet, Haruo Chikada, and Yukihiro Takahashi on various projects.
A disarmingly charming vocal style and whimsical lyrics are her trademarks, along with her detached stage presence.
