Eifo HaYeled? - "Where is the kid?" is an influential Israeli rock band formed in 1986, disbanded in 1998 and reunited again in 2008.
The band formed in 1986 at Kibbutz Givat Brenner, when its first members were Hemi Rudner, a kibbutz native and Assaf Sharig, a native of Kibbutz Beit HaShita and son of Yossef Sharig, along with guitarist Yuval Tzemach and drummer Omer Dagani. 16-year-old Dagani constantly being late for band rehearsals was the reason for the band name, which raised the question "Where is the kid?" (Eifo HaYeled?) every time Dagani didn't show up. This story was previously denied by the band, but in the series "Albums" it admitted that this is indeed the source of the name.
The band's final assembly was completed in 1989 when Rudner and Sharig moved to Tel Aviv, and the band guitarist Ophir Bar-Ami from Kibbutz Hanita and Haifa's drummer Assaf "Bobby" Maroz from Israeli punk band Killer Halohetet joined.

הלהקה הוקמה ב-1986 בקיבוץ גבעת ברנר, כאשר חבריה הראשונים היו חמי רודנר, יליד המקום, ואסף שריג, יליד בית השיטה ובנו של יוסף שריג, יחד עם הגיטריסט יובל צמח והמתופף עומר דגני. איחוריו של דגני בן ה-16 לחזרות הלהקה היוו את הסיבה לשמה של הלהקה כשכל פעם נשאלה השאלה "איפה הילד?". סיפור זה הוכחש בעבר בידי הלהקה, אך בסדרה "אלבומים" היא הודתה שאכן זהו המקור לשמה.
ב-1989 גובש הרכבה הסופי של הלהקה, כאשר רודנר ושריג עברו לתל אביב, וללהקה צורפו הגיטריסט אופיר בר עמי מקיבוץ חניתה והמתופף החיפאי אסף "בובי" מרוז מלהקת קילר הלוהטת.
