In the end I spent the money to see Bjork, but I gotta say Battles probably blew me away more. It was a smaller stage, but my God, those guys can put on a show. As for the crowd, some racist dickhead nearly knocked my friend over and called her an Indian bitch when she yelled at him. I'm still coughing up a black dust too...

Good: All the bands I saw, especially Mammal and RATM. BAD: THE DUST. Missing Bjork. Having angry RATM fans booing Silverchair and Bjork - respect where it's due, goddammit I wish I could've seen Bjork. Sounded amazing. Missing Battles. But at the end of the day, I was there to see Rage. That's what I paid my money for. And that's what I saw. I am a happy customer.

Anti Flag were the bomb as were Gyroscope. Enter Shikari was something else, just amazing! UNKLE was a good change and slow down for brand new who were an interesting band to watch. Rage bored me to sleep, though the ground did shake and that was pretty interesting

enter shikari are the bomb, they are completely nuts and got everyone pumped up. british india and karnivool were solid, but rage were awesome even if i was miles back under one of the trees those dickheads had climbed up

What's with The Herald Sun saying the BDO ended in mayhem with fans leaving angry, confused and disappointed? And that it was the 'most violent' ever? Everyone I met were incredibly nice and relaxed! I inhaled loads of dust for my favourite bands and was nearly crushed getting into the D-barrier but it was fantastic!!!

Fantastic day, bar the dusty car park vibe. RATM were superlative, as were Bjork and Arcade Fire. Bring back the grass!

i think i successfully crapped out my liver being up against the barrier for rage...over six hours of waiting well worth it though.

Man I LOVED the part where I got my ribs crushed for 60 minutes on entrance into the D-barrier! Someone needs to get fucking fired for that design.

Byork was sooooooo bad, as were arcade. Silverchair surprised me and OH MY GOD RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE OH MY GOD! Other highlight was Mountains in the Sky. V nice! Like Explosions in the sky but replace the guitars with gameboy synths :)

RATM, Bjork, Battles, and so many other acts were fantastic!! but as for the venue, well, I had so much trouble figuring out which stage was which (not the main stages of course) and the dust and lack of shade!? I felt a bit like cattle... but yeah, great bands and great weather... (shit venue)

I disliked Bjork for personal reasons. Hilltop, LCD Soundsytem, Carl Cox did it for me. Not a big fan of Silverchair but they did go off which was great. RATM didn't do it for me either, was there for 5 minutes. Crowd was half asleep at the back so i went back to LCD Soundsystem where everyone was just dancing and having a great time. Midnight Juggernauts also deserve special mention :)

Didn't like the venue, too much dust! Apart from that, an awesome day. Arcade Fire was awesome, was incredibly glad I saw Karnivool over silverchair, they were fantastic. Rage totally stole the show however, even though i could barely see them. Anyone else see the guy in the tree have a flare thrown at him? lol
