Description
A performance of traditional American folk music, infused with country blues and mountain music. Diana Jones is a consummate storyteller whose songs resonate with an intense sense of longing. In 2007 her album ‘My Remembrance of You' saw her nominated for Best Emerging Artist at the Folk Alliance Award.
Following her appearance in the BBC4 Folk America concert, hosted by Seasick Steve in January, she returns in 2009 with a powerful new release Better Times Will Come, which she showcases in this performance.

Nick Mulvey is a member of the Mercury Music Award-nominated band Portico Quartet. This is a rare chance to catch him on his own as a singer of his sharp, witty songs, matched with wild Congolese-influenced guitar lines.
