I really enjoyed the whole evening , thought Kozelek was amazing, 'didnt seem happy' thought that was mark in a good mood ! The drummer was really ace and added tons of energy.

I was waiting for more songs from Ghosts... 'Last Tide' was the only one i can recall from that album, and I thought sounded amazing. Hoping to see him on his own next time, probably be different feel to it . =)

Mark Kozelek didn't seem too happy... didn't he call the venue a dungeon? He was probably right. Bit too sweaty... and slightly too long... but the music itself was excellent. It would have been nice to hear more stuff from Ghosts... but on the whole, very wonderful.

It was so fucking hot in there!! Anyone else say hi to the man himself afterwards? My associates and myself were standing around like awe-fucked woodland creatures in his presence. Well they were at least standing there, it may have only been me that went into schoolgirl mode. Really good gig.

I agree!! It really surprised me how full it was!!! The show was great, I just wish they had fixed Mark's voice' volume. Sometimes I could barely hear him :/

Great show. Two full hours. And a great turnout as well, I can't remember the Roadhouse ever being that full before.

Ah, cool, cheers, that's kind of what I figured. Very much looking forward to hearing Kozelek's material in a full band context, the solo gig at the Dancehouse last October really worked for me, though I remember one or two less enthusiastic attendees on the shout box affair but nevertheless. T'was you and your band of merry men (and women if applicable) that did that one as well wasn't it, hristov?

Apologies. This is a Sun Kil Moon gig, not a Mark Kozelek gig(?), per se, would have been the question. Thanks.

This will be fucking fantastic. Double Kozelek in as many years. However however, what's with the Sun Kil Moon/Kozelek double listing (so much use of "double", maybe I should have some kind of burger, or choc ice-esque affair between two wafers, though I don't have anything of the sort. Something is definitely missing aside from that however, I'm sure of this much)? It's presumably a band gig, is this just mentioning the artist twice or is there something more sinister at hand?? Fat love.

The new album has been a real slow burner. Initially a disappointment, it's only just beginning to reveal it's charms.
