A Sextile sosem foglalkozott az elvárásokkal vagy a klisékkel, mindig abba az irányba húztak a zenéjükkel, amit őszintének és önazonosnak éreztek.
Zúzós post-punk és synth-wave árnyalta zenéjükben pedig legújabb albumuk, a Push óta alaposan feljebb csavarták a BPM számot.
