Description
Following on from four sold out shows for Nils Frahm, Funkhaus in Berlin will see Erased Tapes round off its tenth anniversary celebrations with a takeover by label artists Penguin Cafe, Lubomyr Melnyk, Rival Consoles, Daniel Brandt, Ben Lukas Boysen, Masayoshi Fujita and Anne Müller.
England's iconic acoustic ensemble Penguin Cafe will fill the main hall with their blissful sounds, alongside Ukrainian pianist Lubomyr Melnyk's 'continuous music', and UK electronic producer Rival Consoles who makes synthesisers sound human. The night will also see a rare solo performance by long term Nils Frahm collaborator and cellist Anne Müller, before joining Ben Lukas Boysen for his very first Berlin show. Other live appearances include fellow countryman Daniel Brandt of Brandt Brauer Frick with his new band Eternal Something, as well as Berlin-based Japanese vibraphonist Masayoshi Fujita.
