Description
Noorderslag is the annual celebration of the Dutch music scene at Groningen's De Oosterpoort: a snapshot of what's going on in Dutch popular music.
Traditional highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Popprijs: the country's most prestigious music award for the most important contribution to Dutch popular music in the previous year.
The 2017 line-up also features two shows that are not brought by one artist, but are hosted by a record label (Rotterdam Airlines) or a re-issue project ('Parels van de Jordaan' presented by the Top Notch record label).
Noorderslag is the climax of the Eurosonic Noorderslag showcase weekender in Groningen. This event was created for those attending Noorderslag (Saturday 14 January) only.
