Following the release of their remarkable debut album Be Slowly, Birmingham quartet JAWS announce their biggest hometown headline show to date at The Institute on Sat 7th March 2015.
The past year and a half has seen this young four-piece churn out a steady and impressive output of hook-laden and immersive hazy garage pop, from singles ‘Donut’ and ‘Surround You’ to ‘Friend Like You’, ‘Stay In’ and ‘Gold, all now staunch live favourites. It has seen them record a live session for Huw Stephens at Radio 1, guest on the Phil Taggart & Alice Levine show and play a succession of headline shows around the UK culminating in a triumphant sold out headline homecoming show at Birmingham’s The Institute, as well as having their songs appear on the unlikely cross-section from Made In Chelsea to Match Of The Day, with ‘Stay In’ featuring on Rocksmith 2014 (PS3 / XBOX360).
JAWS have a rapidly increasing nationwide fan base, having had a fantastic run of performances across the UK summer festivals, including Dot to Dot, Bestival, Beacons, Reading & Leeds, plus support slots with Spector, The Enemy and The Twang.
