Mahalia and Birmingham Promoters team up to bring you the first in a very special series of events we’re calling ‘Mahalia Presents’ where she will be inviting her dearest and favourite artists to the stage for a most excellent night of music!
Two years spent supporting the likes of Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande, Nick Mulvey and Tom Odell and playing at festivals across the country including Latitude, Camp Bestival has seen the young artist Mahalia develop into an exciting, soulful and vibrant performer with a deeply affecting vocal and lyrical style.
Having survived GCSE’s, Mahalia is focusing on recording tracks for her new album working with producers from the UK and abroad with releases planned throughout 2015 to follow on from her acclaimed acoustic EP Headspace released in 2013
With a successful year long Leicester residency, Mahalia Presents, under her belt which featured an eclectic list of guests including Fiona Bevan, Saint Raymond, JP Cooper, Alessi’s Ark, Joel Baker and loads more, Mahalia has made the move to Birmingham and will open her own account in the town at the The Sunflower Lounge.
