Returning to Australia for an appearance at Meredith Music Festival 2014, MARK LANEGAN (USA) will once again grace the stage of Melbourne’s Ding Dong Lounge on Thursday 11th December for a one-off intimate show. Founding and former member of American grunge band Screaming Trees, Mark Lanegan is known for his captivating solo records but also for his sought after collaborations with Queens of the Stone Age, Isobel Campbell, Soulsavers, The Twilight Singers, Duke Garwood, Moby Unkle and Greg Dulli as duo The Gutter Twins - not to mention the many duets, including those with Kurt Cobain and PJ Harvey. In early 2014, Light in the Attic Records honored Lanegan by putting together Has God Seen My Shadow? An Anthology 1989-2011, a collection of Lanegan’s solo material for Sub Pop & Beggars labels, including 12 unreleased tracks. With a discography spanning across eight studio albums, and his latest vinyl only release of the No Bells on Sunday EP, Lanegan recently performed a handful of dates supporting Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds across America, giving his loyal followers a sneak peak of his forthcoming full-length release Phantom Radio, set for release via Flooded Soil/Vagrant Records in October, 2014.
