Death From Above 1979 release on September 09th their new album "The Physical World" - the first ten years - and visit the Mascotte for an exclusive CH-live show! Support also deny the great GREYS from Toronto!
2004 appeared "You're A Woman, I'm A Machine" by Death From Above 1979 and raised the bar for the so called dance or disco-punk pretty high. A monster of an album. Two years later, the duo parted ways. While bassist Jesse Keeler co-founded the House project MSTRKRFT, vocalist and drummer Sebastian Grainger tried as a solo artist. 2011 came the reunion. It was followed by some live shows, where new songs were played, but about a new record was not spoken. Until now, because the band now announces a new album.
"The Physical World" was recorded by Oasis producer Dave Sardy and will appear on September 9. Death From Above 1979 themselves describe their second album as a mix of Bruce Springsteen and Sonic Youth J. Keeler and Grainger Why after ten years again release album? The British music magazine NME , they declared: "This record is a key for us. It will permit us to go play the shows we want to play and it gives us the freedom to do what we want. "
