Description
STEVIE WONDER has had a unique career as a singer, composer, instrumentalist and performer. After his early years with Motown, who signed him up as 'Little Stevie Wonder' when he was only 12 years old, he gradually released a striking array of innovative music that would influence the world of contemporary music as we know it today.
In the early 1970's STEVIE WONDER pioneered the use of synthesizers, a venture that hugely influenced the face of popular music. As one critic wrote about WONDER's ingenious musical techniques: "He was simply the best at humanizing synthesizers.'" His mind bending fusion of innovative beats and ear-to-the street lyrical sensibilities single-handedly revitalized American songwriting in the '70's. STEVIE WONDER forged his diverging styles into a trademark sound, putting his musical signature on an epic quartet of albums that would change music forever.
