VALERIE JUNE - UK Tour 2013 - MON 13 MAY

Self-taught musician, singer and songwriter, the hugely talented Valerie June will be heading to Glee Club Birmingham, on Monday 13 May.

Fresh from being special guest on the Jake Bugg UK tour, Valerie is about to release her debut album Pushin' Against A Stone, which has been produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and Kevin Augunas (Florence & The Machine, Sinead O'Connor, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros) and shall be released on Rob da Bank's Sunday Best imprint.

She recently performed 'Workin' Woman Blues' on Later With Jools Holland and appeared on BBC 6 Music in session for Cerys Matthews demonstrating her stunningly emotive amalgamation of blues, folk, gospel, soul, Appalachian and bluegrass, born of her roots in Tennessee.
