Description
The Postal Service re-join for their first tour since 2003 with a very special show at the Mann on June 17th.
It’s been 10 years since The Postal Service emerged from seemingly nowhere and began to burrow its way into the ears of anyone who came into contact with the band’s infectious electro-pop. To celebrate, Sub Pop is reissuing The Postal Service’s one and only album, Give Up, including in the multidisc set B-sides, rarities, and two brand new songs, “A Tattered Line of String” and “Turn Around.”
The Postal Service 2013 is Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie and Jimmy Tamborello of Dntel and Figurine, joined by Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley. See them for maybe your first and definitely your last time in Philadelphia for this very rare and special performance.
Tickets: $44.50, $39.50, $34.50 (Terrace/Lawn)
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 22 at 10:00AM via MannCenter.org, Ticketmaster.com, 800-745-3000, AEGLive.com, TicketPhiladelphia.org, 215-893-1999 or the Mann Box Office.
