Paradiso and MC Theater present Staff Benda Bilili!

Staff Benda Bilili is a band like you’ve never seen or heard before. A very special group consists of disabled street musicians from Kinshasa, Congo - who makes music a wonderful beauty. Rumba and Afro Cuban rhythms mixed with funk, soul grooves and a little bit of reggae. Above this all, you can hear the young Roger Landu. He plays on a homemade instrument made only from an old tin can, a wooden bow and a stretched string. Last year the band released their second album “Bouger Le Monde!”.
