Description
Jen Cloher takes a sharp u-turn with the first single off her third album, ‘In Blood Memory’. She’s put down her acoustic guitar and picked up a Jim Dyson electric to explore an indie rock tapestry that may just surprise you. Her first album ‘Dead Wood Falls’ was nominated for an ARIA in the category of Best Female Artist with her second album, ‘Hidden Hands’, named as one of the top ten releases of 2009 by The Age. She’ll be sharing the bill with Melbourne based songwriter Courtney Barnett who’s turned all sorts of heads with the release of her debut EP and its lead single, ‘Lance Jr’. Recently Unearthed by Triple J, Barnett has fast become a community radio favourite, receiving genuine critical acclaim as one of the country’s most exciting young songwriters.
