Description
Dirty Projectors’ acclaimed latest album Swing Lo Magellan is a collection of moments: accidental, fortuitous, spontaneous. Band leader David Longstreth’s idiosyncratic songwriting is at times explosive and anthemic, at others tender and disarming.
The band’s intricate rhythms, knotty arrangements and layered vocals have been intensively rehearsed. The results are jaw-dropping live interplay without losing the band’s distinct personality and technical spontaneity.
