Located in the basement of Morewood Gardens, The Underground holds approximately 150 people. This space is a restaurant and is typically used for small concerts.
Free and open to the public!
Julianna Barwick is a Louisiana-bred, Brooklyn-based recording artist. Her ethereal music is built around multiple loops and layers of her voice. She has been featured on NPR, Pitchfork, New York Times, Stereogum, Gorilla Vs. Bear, etc.
She was influenced by artists like Cocteau Twins and Björk and critics have linked her music to Grouper, How to Dress Well, Oneohtrix Point Never, Julia Holter and Prince Rama.
