Description
"For the live performance Hecker uses an approach developed during his time in Reykjavik. A feedback system between the church pipe organ and computer hears organ tones manipulated through a computer patch and then fed through distortion pedals and out through bass amplifiers and the PA system.
The result is undeniably incredible. Interweaving sounds fight for supremacy amidst clouds of white noise and stark and foreboding walls of sound. We hear abrasive sound mechanics that begin in menacing form (like shadowy blasts of distant heavy machinery) and soon give way to fragile swathes of ambience and immense beauty."
