Since bursting onto the scene (as much as one can ‘burst’ with dreamy electro indie pop) in 2008 Chairlift have been hot property, touring with the likes of MGMT and Yeasayer in their native USA and building anticipation for forthcoming record, Something, due for release early next year.
Which is, coincidentally, when they’ll be back on Aussie shores for Laneway festival and the newly announced sideshows they’ll be playing in Sydney and Melbourne. You can catch them headlining at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday 31 January and at the East Brunswick Club, Melbourne, on Tuesday 7 February.
Local producer/popstress Elizabeth Rose will support on both dates and tickets are available from the venues now.
