Scandalism is a blog, alternative clubnight, and fashion label. For each event, a guest artist will design a t-shirt, which will be available online and at future events. Renowned music photographer Tom Beard will be shooting at the event, and choosing one picture later for our first limited edition t-shirt.

The launch night of Scandalism will be at Scala on July 17th, a monster night running from 9pm until 4am, with four rooms of music; featuring eight of the best new live acts and some of London's most renown DJs.

Tommy Sparks
With rave in his heart, a guitar in his hand and a mission on his mind, Tommy Sparks is creating blasts of life-affirming melody and empowering elegies. Having appeared on The Prodigy's Invaders Must Die and Filthy Duke's Nonsense In The Dark, his much anticipated debut is released August 10th. He describes himself as 'pop on record, punk live' see for yourself.

Marina & The Diamonds
23 year-old songwriter Marina flits from heart-stoppingly beautiful piano pop of Obsessions to the artful and anarchic sound of Mowgli's Road. Her latest single The Crown Jewles EP is released on achingly-cool New York label Neon Gold, home to Passion Pit and Yes Giantess.

Telepathe
Brooklyn banshees with a brand new beat, Telepathe. Produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, thier influences range from pop, hip-hop, shoegaze, electronic, and psychedelic music just to name a few. Listening to them feels like you’re in a lush dreamscape trapped between the sleeping world and waking reality.

Plugs
This London electro trio, fronted by Does It Offend You Yeah's Morgan Quaitance Plugs are one of the hottest new bands around. With praise from Zane Lowe, NME, MTV and all corners of the blogosphere for thier first single "All Them Witches", on Kill 'Em All Records.

Yes Giantess
Following in the footsteps of their university friends' Passion Pit with an even more synthed-out electro sound, Yes Giantess are the next great hope for electronic pop in the US and they're about to get uncomfortably close to your girlfriend. Produced by Passion Pit's own Bo Flex, the Berklee School of Music grads are unleashing some of the biggest pop jams you'll hear all year.

Wolf Gang
Wolf Gang is the brain child of Max McElliot who spent last summer carving perfect, epic, pop, masterpieces on a dodgy laptop in his flat in Camden. With just 2 shows under their belt at the time of writing (The Great Escape Festival and Stag & Dagger) the band already have a great live plan in place including support slots with Florence & the Machine and Neon Gold labelmate Marina & the Diamonds.

The Maccabees DJs
Orlando Weeks, frontman of The Maccabees will be taking time out from a hectic touring schedule to spin his favourite tunes for our launch party. They are currently promoting 'Wall Of Arms', a second critically acclaimed album, and will be playing Brixton Academy this Autumn.

Adventures Close To Home
Having sandblasted deep craters in clubs across London (Fabric / Matter / SEOne), Barcelona (Razzmatazz), Berlin (Club 93) and Paris (Showcase) over the past 5 years, they’re here to hurt your hearing holes with the finest Cosmic Rhythm and Mutant Bass music available.

People Are Germs
Shoreditch party promoters return from thier sold out warehouse rollerdisco to hit the decks once more. Expect an eclectic mix of soul, disco, electro and rock ‘n’ roll from past and present.

Magistrates
Brought up on a diet of late eighties house sounds and early Prince albums, XL Recordings signed Magistrates made it thier mission to make unashamedly sexual music for the mind, feet and hips.

Neverland DJs
Indie hellraisers Neverland have put on nights from decadent Soho Review Bar, to 'The Rave in a Pub' at Old Queen's Head. These three girls are as likely to play Cindy Lauper as CSS, Paul Simon as Passion Pit or George Harrison as Golden Silvers.

Queens Of Noize (Smash & Grab set)
Queens Of Noize started Smash & Grab a little over 2 years ago, and after it's phenomenal success at west end haunt Punk, they moved up to bigger and better Camdenite institution, Proud Galleries. Described as "The night dedicated to kissing and dancing, how can you go wrong when every song is a love song?", expect the usual Thursday snogfest, except on a Friday.

Stricken City
Stricken City play pop songs lingering on lovers and tramps jumping between places and pictures. Drawing influences from the likes of Talking Heads, Bow Wow Wow and Young Marble Giants, the band release their highly anticipated debut mini-album through Puregroove in September.

Snap, Crackle & Pop
Snap, Crackle & Pop, the club that helped spawn the fidgit craze of 2008, and now spreading House music to the masses, a club that brings in the biggest and best acts before anyone else. residents Med Damon,Harry James, Carlosi and Stuart Meldrum are joined by very special guests to be announced.
