Description

on the eve of january 23rd the we took part in an experiment that dismembered our shoes from our feet.

on april the 2nd we reunite the long lost footed lovers in a dramatically overdone $5 ceremony of passion and fast paced dancing.

beginning at 8pm and held within the confines of Cafe Alt the faculty of arts will offer two musically superior performances that will beg the question as to why we ever removed our shoes on that cold january evening.

Angela Desveaux & the Mighty Ship will constitute our first act. Bred in Montreal they have been bestowed with a country-stained rock and roll sound that not only sets the unexpected on fire but also breathes life back into those who forget how to dance.

the overtly praised Plants and Animals shall be the evening's closer and will rightfully stand as the sole reason you woke up in the morning. Erupting from a folk dance-volcano deep within the crevasse of Montreal this beast-like three member band comes heavily acclaimed from pitchfork.com as nominees for Best New Album of 2008, Best New Artist, and Most Underrated Album. Also, recently nominated for two Junos Plants and Animals are apparently the best band you have yet to hear.
