Rhea Raj is a pop artist, songwriter, and producer who first fell in love with music learning traditional Indian dance from her mother at 2 years old. Rhea’s Global Pop sound, “bold and sexy choreography” and “badass anthems about women empowerment have earned her a devoted international fandom… The Rheaverse,” ~Rolling Stone. Her fiery stage presence and vocal prowess have led to performances at SXSW, NYFW, United Nations, arenas and festivals around the world.
At 15, Rhea competed on American Idol and her audition went viral with Jennifer Lopez praising her voice and style, leading to support from Billboard and MTV. In 2020, Rhea was named the Songwriters Hall of Fame x BMI award winner. Her singles “Devil In A Dress” and "Venom" debuted on BBC Radio 1, Rolling Stone and Paper Magazine. Streaming services have been buzzing too: Spotify recently gave Rhea her first billboard that took over Times Square for APIHM, while Amazon Music named Rhea their Identity Festival headliner. Her viral single “Outside" featured in Vogue India, instantly declared an international hot-girl anthem with its glamorous music video full of statement looks and fierce dance breakdowns. Rhea continues to shatter barriers as a South Asian woman, redefining the “It-Girl” with iconic brand collaborations including YSL, MAC, and Charlotte Tilbury. In May 2023, Rhea Raj was selected as the Gold House x Spotify x AEG Artist of the year.
