We had an incredible win over 3 Doors Down on Fuse's Best of 2008! However it isn't over yet! Avenged Sevenfold is now up against Slipknot and this isn't going to be an easy win! We need all our fans helping us in round two. go to http://www.fuse.tv/music/best-of-2008/

thanks for your kind words...but I'm not trying to be nice, I just like o talk about music and help people to get to know with some of my favourite sounds...so it is me who should thank you... No Doubt's early sound clearly consists of bit of ska but anyway it's an interesting way to get into ska music... if you liked ND's pop influenced ska, if you like classic tunes which you said, you'll surely get to like to Reel Big Fish...and for a No Doubt fan it should be an interesting band also because ND had a strong connection with RBF in the past, as they come from the same scene and Gwen and Aaron from RBF were dating for some time... he dedicated her many of the RBF songs... but it's a different story for a different time, I'm talking too much... you see it yourself that I really needed to share my ska passion with new people:p and with the Goldfinger's songs (they are from "Hang-Ups"), you can see how ska has so many different forms... and all of them are so addicting!

HI! I am suprised with your question, since I'm not generally a "ska guy", but also because I usually get comments bashing ska music...I guess you're interested in bands from late 80's/90's/00's that more or less mix ska with punk/rock... if you prefer ska-punk music, with big punk/hardcore influence, check The Suicide Machines' "Destruction by Definition", Goldfinger's "Goldfinger" and "Hang-Ups", Operation Ivy's "Energy" or Less Than Jake's "Hello Rockview" and "Anthem"... I'm recommending particular albums because some of these bands had also recorded other albums that sound a bit different... If you prefer ska-pop/rock/jazz, a lighter sound with lots of horns, you should check any album from Reel Big Fish, they're amazing and funny as hell. There was also a band called Suburban Rhythm that had released only one, but truly brilliant album... besides, Save Ferris' "It Means Everything" is a good ska-pop album and... well, I think that's enough to begin with...Hope you'll like it...

Olha na boa, assuntos do fórum não são do meu interesse, muito menos da minha conta... Se alguém te disse isso, vc deveria perguntar a quem disse, pois até onde sei, deixei claro a todos na moderação os reais motivos de minha saída. :)
