Excellent! See you there. Have you picked up the new album? It's very good. I have to say the EP, the first I'd heard of them after you brought them to may attention, hit me a little harder. That first impression thing I guess.

Bad news is that I know for a fact that Fall of Troy won't be touring for a while. Good news is that it's because they are gonna be in the studio soon. I'll keep my eyes open.

I can't figure out if it's one of my friends/neighbors recommending me Pantera, and if they are, if it's a joke or not. Borderline annoying.

I could write a narrative review about Jet, but I won't for one sole reason. I remember reading this theory that a person can only be SO creative, meaning that given a long enough timeline they will eventually consume all of their allotted "creative energy," thus rendering them artistically impotent. That sounds like bullshit in my opinion (especially since I just made it up), but I refuse to waste any of my creativity to review a band as horrible as Jet. Oops, uh...it appears I just did. Dammit.

I keep hearing about them too, which is why I checked them out...for free...thank you God for the internet. Their first album, it's titled something like Blah Blah Blah Falling Blah or such nonsense, has one or two tracks (Pressure and Emergency) on it that I can listen to from start to finish. Everything else on that album is played in that frequency where I immediately shut my brain off after hearing it, and then forget I'm listening to anything at all. Their second album, which is called Riot! (hella pretentious in my opinion. I mean, do you really need that effing exclamation point?) has fewer awful tracks, but none as standout as the 2 off of their first BORING album. Don't waste your time unless you like poppy, poppy, POPPY punk(ish) music.
