Very funny. I listened to all the bands at the top of the charts showing 2 listeners for last week - and I imagine you listened to most of those as well :-D

I kept meaning to ask if you got into the Raconteurs. The more recent album in partic is something else. Some fantastic songwriting on it. I really regret not seeing them the last time they were in London (I already had tkts for another show that clashed.) Never again - unless BRMC or Interpol are playing the same night LOL

I've sent you Recs of several BJM songs similar to those on "Methodrone". Every album is different AND diverse. Having said that. Peppermint Wonderland" is worth investing in as a "best of". "Spacegirl" has a similar feel to Methodrone" - slightly more spaced-out. "Take It From the Man" was around the time a certain (very young at the time) Peter Hayes was part of the Jonestown circus. "Take It from the Man!" is possibly most representative of their style and the most revered among reviewers, followed by ""And this is our music/Tomorrow's heroes today". You'd probably enjoy "Bravery Repetition.." too, with its Bunnymen/Cure-esque moments. Just D/L them all!! Anton is a genius - and the masses will recognise it one day.

Hey, Pro :) How are you? Good to see you still enjoying Methodrone....you really should check out more BJM :) Have a fab weekend!

I keep forgetting to log in so it can slobber for a start off. Plus I've been pretty much soley listening to Joni Mitchell, John Martyn and Woody Guthrie so tht won't help any. Nevermind, did I tell you I'm going to see Calexico in Dublin in September?

Hello :) How do you know it's Husker? From some 'Community' post? The FREAKY thing is - as you will have seen - I left him a shout earlier this year... not knowing who he was! :-O
About Me
So, I am prolix. 22 years of age at the moment and living in the depths of greenest Sussex.
I love music, that's why I'm here - that goes for Last.FM and on earth itself.
Aside from the music, I am currently enjoying televisual delights such as:
# Monk
# The Wire
# Due South
# Peep Show
# Darkplace
This is Adrian Monk:

A hero of our times.
