About Me

I really hate liars, hypocrites, and people who claim they hate bands they've never heard. If you're going to hate, at least be informed.

I don't buy excuses such as "my little sister listens to the Backstreet Boys and Christina Aguilera on my computer." Own up to your own music tastes. If you like that kind of music, there's no need to be embarrassed. I won't judge you for it, I promise. I will, however, judge you for lying about why it's on your charts.

Join:it's about the music, not the tags.

Last.fm was not created for the sole purpose of tagging, or even for the initial purpose of tagging. Tagging isn't even mandatory. Last.fm was created as a social music networking site, to find people who listen to the same type of music as you do.

Tags are secondary to the actual listening of the music and weren't even launched until 2005, several months before last.fm actually became trendy. If your place priority on the tags above the music itself, then maybe you shouldn't be here. It shouldn't matter if it's emo, progressive, acid jazz, classical, pop, gospel, or metal. If you like it, listen to it. if not, then don't.
