To remind myself what I listened to in past time I will start a weekly list of the best music.

1. Hästpojken - Caligula

Can´t stop listening to this CD of short catchy punk/indiepop songs. Eklandagatan and Utan personlig insats are the favorites songs at the moment.

2. Tyler Ramsey - Worried

Amazing Red House Painters-like song from the great album A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea.

3. Days - Downhill

7 Inch + CD EP of the most lovely melodic indiepop ala The Smiths, Orchids.. From Gothenburg Sweden.

4. Mixtapes & Cellmates and Yeasayer

Fantastic concert at Debaser i Malmö.

5. Mountain Goats - Heretic Pride

Their best since the 1996 album Nothing for Juice. Compared to the last couple of albums Heretic Pride is a little more intense. My favorite tracks on the album are Michael Myers Resplendent and Heretic Pride.

6. Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago

A proper release of the 2007 self-released album. Like an acoustic Band of Horses or a more melodic Hayden. Simply gorgeous. Review here.

7. One Night Only - Just For Tonight

As good a song as any indie-anthem can be.

8. Pony Up! - What's Free Is Yours

I tried listening to Pony Up!, but the only song that stuck with me is this one. But it is enough for it is a super-cute pop song. Love it!

9. Morrissey - Vauxhall and I

I bought his latest greatest hits but I rather listen to his best CD ever. Every song on this album is a winner.

10. Sons & Daughters - This Gift

Another indiepop-anthem I can´t get enough of.

11. Tindersticks - Boobar

Best song from the new very consistent album.

12. Miss Kittin - Pollution Of The Mind

Catchy electroclash song from her new album.

13. Young Republic - Girl from the Northern States

Great Belle & Sebastian style indiepop-song from an otherwise dull album.

14. Hayden - In Field & Town

Good new album from the Canadian one man band.

15. Laura Marling - Night Terror

Best song from a good album by the young and talented British girl.

16. Club 8 - Jesus, walk with me (jimahl remix)

17. Scary Mansion - New Hampshire

She sounds exactly like Myra Lee era Cat Power. And that is good in my book. This song is great.

18. The Shondes - The Red Sea

Almost unknown with a self-released album. Better than anything Sleater-Kinney has ever done.

19. Drive-By Truckers - A Ghost to Most

From their too long 2008 album I picked out this little gem of a song.

20. Soda Fountain Rag - It's Rag Time!

Good twee-pop album from this Norwegian girl with an up-coming gig in Copenhagen.
